The Land Lumps is an ongoing illustration project. It's a collection of hand drawn, digitally coloured illustrations inspired by the calm magic of nature and my love of making environments and characters. 

 

Q: What is the meaning of 'Land Lump'?

A: A Land Lump is simply a lump of land with life on it. Inhabitants also regard themselves as 'lovely lumps of stuff' with tiny souls inside and often refer to themselves as 'Land Lumpers'. Those that live in the skies 'Sky Lumpers' and under water 'Sea Lumpers'.

A: The population of the Land Lumps is diverse! Everyone is welcome: birds, spiders, bugs, worms, hamsters, hedgehogs, dragons, mermaids.... You're welcome too!
